Les partenaires du projet MED AGRISLES, représentant les autorités publiques en
charge de l’agriculture et du développement rural, dans les Îles Baléares (Espagne),
la Corse (France, chef de file du projet), la Sardaigne et la Sicile (Italie), l’Île de Gozo
(Malte), les Sporades du Nord (Thessalie) et l’archipel de la Nord-Égée (Grèce), Chypre
et les Açores (Portugal), échangent tous ensemble leurs expériences et développent
une méthode commune pour l’innovation non technologique dans l’agriculture et le
développement rural. Ils publient une série de brochures afin de diffuser les meilleures
pratiques dans ce domaine.

The partners of the MED AGRISLES project, representing public authorities in charge of agriculture and rural development in the Balearic islands (Spain), Corsica (France, project lead partner), Sardinia and Sicily (Italy), Gozo (Malta), the Northern Sporades (Thessaly) and North-Aegean archipelagos (Greece), the Cyprus island (Cyprus) and the Azores (Portugal),  altogether are exchanging experiences and developing a common method for non-technological innovation in agriculture and rural development. They publish a series of booklets to disseminate identified best practices on this issue.

The AGRISLES Manifesto PDF Print E-mail

After adoption of the AGRISLES Manifesto during the seminar held in Cyprus, Monday 24 October 2011, a copy has been sent for signature by Mr Jean-Louis Luciani, President of the Agricultural and rural development office of Corsica (ODARC) and Member of the Executive Council of The Territorial Collectivity of Corsica, to political responsibles of several Member States (Cyprus, Malta, Greece) and regions (North Aegean, Thessaly, Sicily, Sardinia, the Balearic islands and Azores) representing the project's partners.

Other initiatives will follow to promote this Manifesto for agriculture and rural development in the islands that will be soon discussed at the Final conference of the project, to be held on the 18th-19th April 2012, in Corsica.

The ANCIM gets interested to the AGRISLES initiative PDF Print E-mail

The ANCIM, the Italian National Association for the Minor Islands, showed its interest for the initiative taken by AGRISLES and took part to the meeting in Cyprus in videoconference, on Monday, October, 24, 2011.
Its Secretary General, Miss Gianpiera Usai, provided some suggestions for the improvement of the Manifesto on "The Contribution of the Island to the CAP 2020" and wishes to give a follow up to this first rendez-vous.

On Monday, October, 24, 2011, in Nicosia (Cyprus), the partners of the AGRISLES project had the reading of the first draft of the Manifesto for the "Contribution of the Island to the CAP 2020", in order to improve it.    
At the end of this working session, a new draft of the document has been addressed to all partners for its final approval. The definite document will be submitted to the signature of competent policy authorities, so as the AGRISLES coming out message, can reach the European Commission, and in particular the DG Agriculture and Rural development under the authority of its Commissionaire Dacian Cioloş.
